Welcome to the Colorado River Water Users Association (Association) web site. During the many years of the Association's existence, the members have recognized the importance of developing basin-wide personal relationships to allow frank discussions of the many issues involving the Colorado River.

When the Colorado River was allocated among the basins in 1922 and later divided up among the states and Mexico, most people understood then that the day would come when the numbers just didn't work for everyone. Now, these many years later, that day has come. Fortunately, the personal relationships among the many water agencies represented in the Association are strong and based on individual trust. That strength and that trust will see us through the next 10 years or so because that is what keeps everyone at the table talking to one another.

You are also invited to participate at our annual meeting in Las Vegas in December and membership to the Association is open to anyone who can benefit from it.
